Description
The creators of the album “Two Sides” are the members of the project “Dora”—musician Jānis Šipkēvics (Shipsea, Instrumenti) and his collaborator, musician and producer Gatis Zaķis (The Mundane, Instrumenti).
The sound record “Two Sides” was created over the course of two years, interacting with various visual arts disciplines—film, theater (Kristaps Epners, Māra Ķimele), as well as creating sound sculptures in collaboration with Icelandic artist Berglind Jónu Hlínsdóttir.
The album includes 10 compositions, mostly instrumental works, while the vocal compositions feature lyrics written by B.J. Hlínsdóttir.
