Description
“Nepāriet” is a collective of young musicians who have come together to create a program based on the music of composer Imants Kalniņš, taking as its foundation the 1997 collaboration between Ainars Mielavs and Imants Kalniņš, “Par lietām, kuras tā ar’ nekad nepāriet” (“About Things That Never Really Fade Away”).
“Nepāriet” is designed as a retrospective of this album, which gained significant popularity and a special place in people’s hearts. The wider public was first introduced to “Nepāriet” during the 2017 Piena svētki (Milk Festival).
The collective “Nepāriet” features Alise Joste, Evija Vēbere, Jānis Šipkēvics, Kārlis Josts, Lorete Medne, Matīss Čudars, Miķelis Putniņš, Rūdolfs Dankfelds, Zelma Jēgere, and Vladislavs Nastavševs.
